Employee Referral Program

Current employees have proven to be an excellent source of future employees through a referral basis. This procedure is most definitely encouraged, to the degree that Harris will pay 2,000 of your local currency (this amount may vary between countries based on local market common practices, please discuss with the local HR team to understand what amount apply to your country) to a current, regular employee whose recommendation results in an offer of full-time and/or part-time regular employment and/or temporary employment of one year or more being issued to, and accepted by the referral, and the candidate remaining employed for one full year. The referral bonus is subject to the necessary deductions, such as local taxes.

The employee will receive payment in two parts. The first 50% will be paid to the employee once the referral has surpassed their probationary period. The remaining 50% will be paid once the referral has been employed with the Company for one full year. Both the employee and the referral must still be employees to receive any payment. Referrals of former employees are not eligible, as well as referrals for internship and or student positions, both of which will not be eligible for any type of referral bonus. In all cases, Management will endeavour to fill the job openings with the most qualified people available, regardless of the source. To make a referral, please use Workday (and) on the SEARCH upper tab, type “Refer a Candidate” and then click again on the link to refer a candidate.

All regular employees are eligible for the referral fee except for the Business Unit/Harris Executive Management Team (including C Suite, Group Presidents, Portfolio Leaders, Portfolio Managers, Group Leaders, EVP’s, VP’s, Human Resources, Direct Hiring Managers and those that take an active role in the hiring process and decision making as part of the “Recruitment Team”). Temporary, Intern, and Per Diem employees are not eligible.
